The Universidad Antonio de Nebrija is a private, top-ten Spanish University in Madrid. The university consists of two campuses. Campus Dehesa de la Villa
is located in the university area of Madrid (Moncloa) and the Dehesa Campus
is located in a natural park reserve in the outskirts of Madrid (Hoyo de Manzanares). Nebrija is a small university with approximately 4,000 students enrolled. The university prides itself for giving students individual attention and small class sizes with the student-teacher ratio at 15 to 1.
Nebrija is an active member of the Socrates-Erasmus programs and receives 500 international students each year.
For more than 18 years, Nebrija University has received students from all over the world who come to spend a period of their academic training with us. Every effort is made to integrate international students into daily university life. In the majority of programes, they attend classes side-by-side with Spanish students. Students can take courses in their area of specialization, design their own curriculum (taking courses of their choice), or take only courses in Spanish Language and Culture to enhance their level of Spanish. International students are students in their own right at Nebrija, with access to all activities and general services (libraries, computer labs, sports facilities, etc.) and all extra-curricular activities as well.
Spanish as a Foreign Language (E/LE) is one of the key features of the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija. With the participation of both the Centro de Estudios Hispánicos and the Department of Applied Languages, Spanish Language at Nebrija spans three areas: teaching, training and research. Our commitment to quality has made us one of the most prestigious Spanish language learning and E/LE teacher training centers in Spain and abroad. The Centro de Estudios Hispánicos is associated with CERCLES (European Confederation of Language Centres in Higher Education) and ACLES (Asociación de Centros de Lenguas en la Enseñanza Superior).
