Program Description:
Students enrolled in PH 664 during the Spring 2018 semester taught by Dr. John Elder will travel to Cali, Colombia over spring break. Students will attend lectures at the Universidad de Valle and the Universidad Javeriana. They will also visit and tour the Centro Internacional de Entrenamiento e Investigation Médica and local communities to learn about vector-borne diseases and health security in the region.

Students make own travel arrangements for this program. 
Round trip airfare to Cali approximately  $700
Accommodations, meals and in-country transportation are estimated to cost approximately $500

SDSU International Health Insurance plan
Upon completion of the online application students will be automatically enrolled in the required insurance plan. The cost of this plan is $60. Students will be billed by SDSU Student Account Services within 4-6 weeks.
