Program Description:

Spanish Immersion Program
UDLAP offers an integral program to study and learn Spanish. The Spanish Immersion Program (SIP) has a perfect combination of high-quality academic coursework and recreational activities that provide students with a total immersion experience in Mexican culture.

o   Session 1: May 24th  – June 20th , 2017

o   Session 2: June 28th – July 25th, 2017

Spanish Language Requirements
All students have to complete our on-line Spanish test when applying for courses taught in Spanish; or to be placed in the adequate level when applying for Spanish courses. An oral test will take place during orientation to confirm the correct level.

Students wanting to enroll in courses taught in Spanish must comply with a minimum level of proficiency in Spanish of B1. 

If you are enrolling only in courses taught in English you do not have to comply with any Spanish requirement.


Costs:
Costs may vary depending on the number of courses selected and/or extras. Students will be able to apply the Spanish placement exam by contacting Dr. Magdalena Mejía, magdalena.mejia@udlap.mx  in case the program of interest is the SIP or the SAP.

Deadline
* The deadline to submit your application through SDSU Aztecs Abroad is March 31st. You will still be able to submit your application to UDLAP after this deadline but you must have the Aztecs Abroad section completed by the deadline mentioned above.*

UDLAP's registration deadline is on May 15th so any student interested can still apply with them.

Students are required to submit an Aztecs Abroad application for Partner Institution Program and also simultaneously complete the application process for the host institution campus. Both application should be completed BEFORE the May 15th deadline.
It is recommended that students submit both applications no later than May 12th
Open to sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students! Review program options for availability of appropriate options for your college level.
