  • Single and Multiple Subject Bilingual Credential Candidates: August 17-20 (in Tecate)
Program Overview
During this experience in Tecate bilingual student teachers will plan and implement lessons in Spanish/English in small groups. The lessons will be based on a literature book (picture book or young adult) and designed for Mexican students ages 5-18. Lessons will be taught by student teachers in small groups.
Bilingual Credential program coordinator and seminar teacher will work with you to prepare the lessons and will bring materials. Activities and discussions will focus on migration experience and realities for children, youth and adults who cross the border.

Location
Communities of Antorcha, El Hongo, and Cerro Azul in Tecate, Mexico.
