University Profile
Ritsumeikan University (RU) is an integrated university with a rich culture of individuality and international awareness, accommodating more than 36,500 students across three campuses; Kinugasa, Suzaku (Kyoto) and Biwako-Kusatsu (Shiga). RU offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs across a wide range of academic disciplines including humanities, social science, arts, science and engineering.

Insurance Requirement
All SDSU students will be automatically enrolled in the appropriate international health insurance for their study abroad term. The insurance charge will appear on your student account services billing shortly before departure. Students will receive more detailed instructions regarding insurance before departure.
