University and Program Profile
Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey is one of the largest multi-campus universities in Latin America. There are thirty-three campuses distributed in twenty-five Mexican cities. It's one the highest ranked business schools in Latin America. The Escuela de Graduados en Administración y Dirección de Empresas has been ranked 7th among the best business schools outside the United States according to the Wall Street Journal. The Business Administration program is designed prepare students to manage and run efficient and effective organizations in the age of knowledge, coordinate human capital, and manage resources through technology and innovation in business processes. The new business environment requires companies with models that promote efficiency, profitability and competitive position of organizations nationally and internationally.

Location Summary
Ciudad de Mexico (Mexico City) is Mexico's capital city and one of the most important political, cultural, educational and financial centres in North America. Settling on an altitude of more than 2,000 metres, tourists are instantly enamoured by the city's glamour, cultural heritage and contemporary development. Every corner of the city is sprinkled with stories to tell of famous personalities and ancient tribes. While the Aztecs discovered and gave the city its culture and heritage, the Spanish revamped and added their touch. Today, the cultural amalgamation is mirrored in every landmark of Mexico City, be it the Templo Mayor, El Zócalo square, Catedral Metropolitana or Frida Kahlo museum.

Language Notes
Advanced Spanish skills are recommended for an internship, but not required. There are only a limited number of English speaking internships available.

Program Information and Dates
Students can select one of the following options:
1. Full time internship 250 hours
2. Part time internship (205 hrs) and a course of your choosing

Housing and Meals
Students will receive a list with off-campus accomodation options previously arranged by international programs office. The houses selected have been habituated as
student's residences with all services included (phone, laundry, kitchen); the options are walking distance from the Campus. Students can also select a different housing option, it is not mandatory to stay in the options provided by Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Housing: 400 USD per month (walking distance)
Insurance Requirement
All participants must also purchase the host university: ITESM insurance in additional to the SDSU supplemental insurance upon acceptance.

Students will receive an admission letter as students; in strict sense they will perform an internship for academic purposes, hence students will follow the same procedure as if they would come to study. Consult the local Mexican Consulate for requirements:

This is an exchange program, students will be required to pay full time fees to SDSU.
Summer exchange students pay six units of SDSU summer tuition.
