This program is limited to 12 students and students are encouraged to apply immediately.
To complete a successful application for this program, students must complete Aztecs Abroad and the MICEFA host application simultaneously. Students must submit the MICEFA host application to their Global Education Advisor.
MICEFA confirms acceptance and participation in the program.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Open to Undergraduate and Master's students interested in doing a comparative study of the North American and French models.
- Approval by SDSU
- 1st or 2nd year medical, nursing and public health students
- Completion or equivalent fluency of at least four semesters of college-level French is required for this program.
ACADEMIC INFORMATION
- Four university credits - modules (courses) on various aspects of public health practices
- Each module will be complimented by lectures and visits to local hospitals and health-related organizations such as OECD, Medecins du monde, Pasteur Institute

website, located in the Latin Quarter!
PROGRAM COSTS AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENT

- All SDSU students are required by the Chancellor's office to be enrolled in the CSU Foreign Traveler Insurance Program (CSU FTIP) for the duration of their program abroad. The insurance charge will appear on the student's account services billing. Students will receive more detailed instructions regarding insurance before departure. For price information, click here.
PASSPORT AND VISA
- You must have a valid passport to participate on an exchange program. Your passport must be valid for the duration of the program and for at least 6 months past the program end date.
- If you plan to travel to other countries during your stay in France, be sure you are aware of the requirements for entry. Visit the Department of State website for more details for each country.
